HELLO WORLD!!

Well this is my first attempt at blogging.  But you maybe asking yourself how did this come about?  Well I had sometime off last week and was praying about what God would have me do in 2009.  It became clear to me that I need to communicate and share my thoughts, feelings, ideas with those I know and love.  I decided to get a Facebook (which I vowed I would not do) create a blog (which you see here) and create a engaging website for our Student Life ministry (coming soon).  2 out 3 is not bad in just a couple of days!  I am new at this and when I learn more I will add as much as I can.

  1. So you like to read, huh? Well can I recommend a few gRRRReat( to quote Tony the Tiger) books? Hard to Believe by John MacArthur...Don't Waste Your Life by John Piper...you can read it online at http://www.dontwasteyourlife.com/ and God is the Gospel by John Piper.
The first is my favorite...it's a wonderful eye opening book. If you do read it...promise me to finish it ;)

  3. I think it's great...another excellent way to connect to the youth. I have found facebook a great connection in our church between youth and adults. It's another way to share the Love of God and encourage one another. Your doing a good thing. I look forward to following your blogs...It's going to be a Fantastic year.
